Section 34
License revocable
(1) An insurer may submit an application to the Authority if it wishes to revoke the license of any one or more types of insurance (portfolio) under the type of insurance business licensed under this Act. But the insurer cannot file an application to cancel all the types of insurance (portfolio) he is doing.
(2) If, upon examination of the application received under sub-section (1), the authority finds misconduct, the authority may revoke the license of the insurance (any type of business (portfolio)) provided by such insurer.
(3) In accordance with this clause, other arrangements regarding cancellation of license of type of insurance business (portfolio) shall be as prescribed.
